Welcome to the new site for New Visions of America Foundation, Inc. a non-profit memberbased foundation that share in a common goal to reaffirm and strenghten lives of United States citizens. Abraham Lincoln once engaged in an effort to unite the people of our great nation during a time where unrest was at its highest, so great that battles actually occurred within our own country. Remined in his speech known as the Gettysburg Address (1863) commencing with these unforgettable words, " Fourscore and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation, concieved in liberty and dedicated to the propisition that all men are created equal". (Abraham Lincoln, 1863).
Here is our nation, one hundred forty eight years later, and still our nation engages in acts, that go against the very core of why so many have fought and died for, war after war. Bravely those giving their lives to ensure that the citizens of our great nation and alies we support to ensure democracy and freedom, may enjjoy living in a society, that provides equal access to education, living accomodations, and right to lively hood through employment opportunities.
Why should the citizens and children of our great nation as others be forced to live in extreme poverty? Why should any human not be afforded quality and affordable healthcare ? Why should any child go hungry or wander the streets in a state of homelessness?
As we devlop throughout our lives we are taught the value of family, home and security combined with ethical and moralistic guidelines that have evolved over the years. Abramham Lincoln, set the path to these freedoms when he remined us that equality must be at the forefront of all communities in America. Education teaches about historical factors, educational mandates to ensure literacy so we can understand our system and the laws which govern at both state and federal levels.
In todays society family has never been greater in need of community and governmental supports to ensure the survival of the American dream, fosterd for hundreds of years? It is time for the people of the United States of America take a good look at how they are affected by these deficits and to what point they contribute? It is time stand up and support our citizens by investing in jobs creation, improving eduction at the homefront with parental involvement during formative years, and let your voice be heard among your elected officials, that enough is enough.
America is a proud nation, once identified as the strongest mose powerful on earth. Let it be once again, through unificaiton of its citizens by sharing not only your wisdom and beliefs, but to share with others the fruit of your labors by giving and supporting the programs of New Visions of America Foundation as a member.
